The Louden Family entertained approximately 30 guests in this cabin one year for Thanksgiving, what a wonderful memory for all, talk about going back in time! The original homestead built back in 1910 was dismantled and the wood was eventually sold to build a rustic-looking building in Kalispell. The old log home on the property still has original boards from 1910 and was built onto by the owners using milled logs from Bear Springs Ranch. While this log home is no longer livable, it is a piece of history that belongs on this ranch, along with the multiple antique farming implements from when the property was homesteaded. Bear Springs Ranch is located minutes from McGregor Lake and the Lodge, Thompson Chain of Lakes, and many other nearby lakes.
