John Gill

John, a 4th-generation Oregonian from pioneer stock, spent 25 years running Rock Springs Guest Ranch, managing 50 staff, 70 horses, and 12,000 acres. Growing up on family-owned recreational properties sparked his deep connection to the land. After studying Finance at the University of Oregon, he combined his business acumen with his love for ranching, handling complex land transactions and serving on both the Tumalo Irrigation District and Dude Ranchers' Association boards. His extensive experience includes water rights management, land use regulations, and property development. After selling the ranch in 2008 and traveling globally with his family, John's heart remained in Oregon's open spaces. As a broker, he brings integrity, attention to detail, and lifelong expertise in ranch properties, still maintaining his own thousand-acre ranch on the Lower Deschutes.
